The University of the Sunshine Coast Psychology Club is comprised of a group of democratically elected representatives.

The USC psychology club envisions a perpetual organisation of psychology students and graduates that adds value to both the learning and social experiences of psychology students and the University of the Sunshine Coast’s psychology community.

We aim to promote access to extracurricular professional and social resources and activities to help USC psychology students flourish and develop a strong and active network of educational and social supports.

Meet The Team.

  • June Engeland: President

    Juneis currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is based on the Sippy Downs Campus. As President, June is ultimately responsible for all aspects of the club. Specifically, she represents and leads all of the activities of the club, overseeing all events and strategic plans. June also guides the executive committee in accordance with the club’s vision.

  • Liam Andersson: Vice President

    Liam is currently in his third year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is based on the Sippy Downs Campus. To assist with the club, Liam works closely with the President to represent all of the activities of the club. Additionally, Liam facilitates study groups, professional development, and social events.

  • Nathan Heinz: Treasurer

    Nathan is currently in his second year of a double degree in Psychology and Counselling and is based on the Sippy Downs Campus. To assist the club, Nathan manages all the club’s financial assets and endeavours. Additionally, Nathan helps to facilitate student engagement and social events.

  • Poppy Ball: Secretary

    Poppy is currently in her third year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is based on the Sippy Downs Campus. To assist the club, Poppy manages administration to facilitate effective communication and planning within the committee. Additionally, Poppy helps to facilitate study groups and professional development events.

  • Brigid Murnane: Executive Member

    Brigid is currently in her second year of a double degree in Psychology and Counselling and is based on the Sippy Downs Campus. To assist the club, Brigid facilitates study groups and organises self-care events, as well as encouraging student engagement.

  • Hannah Couchman: Secretary

    Hannah is in currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is based on the Sippy Downs campus. As an executive member, Hannah's responsibilities include facilitating social events and academic skills workshops to benefit her fellow students.

  • Jodie Richardson: Executive Member

    Jodie is currently in her second year of a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) and is based at the Sippy Downs Campus. In her role, Jodie plays a key part in organising events and professional development initiatives for the club.
