Lawn Bowls
Warm up your shoulders and get ready to boooowl!
You are warmly invited to celebrate the halfway mark of semester 1 with a classic game of lawn bowls! Join us for some friendly competition and drinks at Mooloolaba Bowls Club, Wednesday 27th of April at 5.30pm. The theme is professional lawn bowler - with prizes for best dressed - so bring your best polo/visor/stockings/whatever you associate with a pro bowler!
The event is open to all students and disciplines, so make sure you invite all your friends! We'll make our way to Blackflag Brewing together after. See you there!

Annual General Meeting
Join us for our Annual General Meeting. At this meeting, you will have the opportunity to make suggestions and provide feedback to the executive committee on how we can enrich and help improve your university experience.
At the AGM, the 2022 executive committee members will also be officially handing over executive positions to the new executive committee of 2023.
If you would like to get involved as an official executive committee member, let us know! Our official positions available are: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, and Executive Members.
You will need to self-nominate. All final positions are decided by peer majority vote and will be announced at the AGM.
Pizza and light snacks will be provided :)

Join us for our end of year Psychology Ball. This year’s ball is themed “ENCHANTED GARDEN” and will be hosted at Eaton Hotel in Brisbane.
Self-Care Workshop
It is that time of semester again and our stress levels may be rising.
Do you feel you may need some tips and tricks to manage the assessment stress? Well this workshop is for you.
This workshop will be hosted by Trudy, who will be providing tips on how to manage and prioritise your self-care. Following this, Bee will help us to put this into practice by facilitating a guided meditation and breathing exercise

Murder Mystery Event
Held in collaboration with the USC CSI Club, this event is for all you crime buffs out there.
Do you want to work in a team to solve the crime that has occurred on CAMPUS?
Join us on campus at the Student Guild for an event that is not to be missed. You can arrange to play in a team or show up and be allocated a team.
To win: You will need to search the campus for clues and be the first team to successfully solve the murder!

September 8th, 2022 is R U OK!
R U OK Day reminds us to meaningfully connect with the people around us and engage in conversation with those who may be struggling.
To create a space for students to be supported and connected, we will be walking along Mooloolaba beach today.

Safe-Talk Suicide Awareness Workshop
Are you looking to expand your knowledge or experience to support your understanding or your clinical master’s application?
This safeTALK workshop runs for 4-hours and offers students practical knowledge of how to identify someone at risk of suicide and link them to life-saving services.
The workshop will be held at the Thompson Institute at 12 Innovation Parkway, Birtinya and is FREE!
All participants will receive a certificate of attendance and workbook.

Exam Preparation Workshop
Semester 1, 2022 exams are finally upon us.
If you are feeling overwhelmed or looking for some extra exam tips, this workshop is for you.
The workshop will be hosted C1.49 by Rebekah De Wet, the President of the Psychology Club. Rebekah is in her final semester of study as an honours student and as such, has a wealth of exam tips and tricks to share!
